Mexican Frito Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, diced
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 can Hormel chili (no beans)
1 can tomato sauce
8 oz. sour cream
2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 pkg. Fritos
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Brown ground beef, onion and pepper.
Drain off fat.
Add chili and tomato sauce.
Let simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
Spoon sauce in bottom of casserole, just enough to cover.
Crush Fritos and place a layer on top of sauce.
Now put a thicker layer of sauce, then sour cream, then Cheddar cheese.
Start again with another layer ending with Fritos.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
