Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. chicken, cubed
1 chicken bouillon
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 thinly sliced onion
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 medium green pepper, sliced
Preparation

Brown chicken slowly in hot shortening.
Add 1 cup water, bouillon and salt; mix well.
Cover and simmer until tender. Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, pineapple syrup, vinegar and soy sauce.
Cook in saucepan over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
Remove from heat and add sauce to chicken.
Stir in pineapple chunks, green pepper and onion; cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve over hot white rice.
