Dad'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 qt. popped corn
    1 c. peanuts
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. light molasses
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Combine popcorn and nuts in a large container and keep warm in a 250\u00b0 oven.
    In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cook to 290\u00b0 on candy thermometer (hard-crack stage).
    Slowly pour over popcorn and nuts, stirring to coat.
    Spread mixture in buttered 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
    Return to 250\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Stir after 10 minutes.
    Cool and break in pieces.
