Braided Easter Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs (uncooked), dyed different colors
3 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cardamon
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. lemon peel
1/4 tsp. aniseed
1 egg (room temperature)
1 egg white, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. sesame seed
Preparation

Heat butter and milk to 120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0.
Combine 1/4 cup sugar, salt, yeast and 1 1/2 cups flour in a large bowl.
Add milk mixture, combining thoroughly.
Add cardamon, cinnamon, lemon peel, aniseed and egg; mix thoroughly.
Add remaining flour in small amounts until a soft dough.
Knead until smooth (approximately 10 minutes).
Place in greased bowl, coating all sides; cover with damp towel.
Set in warm place to double (about an hour).
