Strawberry Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. water
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
few drops red food coloring (optional)
3 rounded Tbsp. strawberry jello
lemon or almond extract
1 qt. freshly stemmed strawberries

Preparation

Cook first 6 ingredients until clear.
Cool.
Mix with strawberries and pour into a baked pie shell.
