French Breakfast Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft shortening or cooking oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    6 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix together shortening, sugar and egg.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
    Stir alternately with milk.
    Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
