Curried Fruit * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can peach halves
    1 can pear halves (medium)
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1 small bottle maraschino cherries
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    2 tsp. curry powder
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    Drain fruit thoroughly.
    Arrange peaches, pears and pineapple in flat baking dish.
    Place cherries in an attractive pattern. Sprinkle with blanched, slivered almonds all over.
    Mix sugar, butter and curry powder.
    Sprinkle over fruit.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
