Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. each: walnuts and pecans
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. blackberry or strawberry jam
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. applesauce (Whitehouse)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter together.
    Add applesauce, jam and vanilla.
    Combine dry ingredients; mix with raisins and nuts. Combine with first ingredients.
    Cook in tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
