Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain corn meal
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 c. pancake mix
    2 eggs
    1 can creamed corn
    2 c. milk
    1 c. grated onion
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
Preparation
    Mix ingredients, saving eggs and milk to be stirred in last. Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 if baking cornsticks or muffins or 375\u00b0 if pan baking.
    Bake until lightly browned.
    (Best if baked in iron skillet.)
