Rice And Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 onions, chopped
    2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced or 2 (4 oz.) cans
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 can consomme
    1 c. water
    1 c. raw rice
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions and mushrooms in butter.
    Add consomme and water. Add rice and stir.
    Season.
    Bake in greased casserole, covered, in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
