German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

medium-small potatoes, boiled (enough to make 4 c. peeled and sliced potatoes)
2 medium onions, sliced fine
2 eggs
1/2 c. mild vinegar (cider)
few grains salt
1/2 lb. cubed bacon
Preparation

Put sliced potatoes and sliced onions in alternate layers in bowl.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour over all 1/2 cup boiling water and fold lightly.
Try not to mash your potatoes.
Fry out the diced bacon and pour over the top (if too much grease, add just enough for taste).
