Grandma'S Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. flour (plain)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. butter, room temperature
Preparation
    Beat egg whites; add 3/4 cup sugar and vanilla.
    Set aside. Cream butter and sugar; cream well.
    Add egg yolks one at a time. Beat well.
    Fold in flour and soda, alternating with buttermilk. Cream in egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
    This recipe can be frozen for later use.
