Beef Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    pepper to taste
    2 c. celery, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    5 carrots, sliced or chopped
    1 can (16 to 20 oz.) whole tomatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 c. lentils
    10 c. water
Preparation
    Cook washed lentils in the 10 cups water for 1 hour.
    Add seasonings and other ingredients.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Serve hot with fresh rolls or Italian bread.
