Wilted Leaf Lettuce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 qt. torn lettuce leaves
    1/4 c. chopped green onions
    2 hard-cooked eggs
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Save 3 tablespoons grease in skillet and combine with vinegar, water, sugar and salt.
    Heat to boiling and stir 2 minutes.
    Combine lettuce, onion and crumbled bacon. Pour hot liquid over greens and mix.
    Garnish with chopped hard-cooked eggs.
