Apple Butter Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. quick oats
1 1/2 c. apple butter
1 c. butter or oleo
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Sift flour, soda, salt and sugar in mixing bowl.
Mix in uncooked oats; add melted butter.
Mix well.
Press 1/2 of the mixture into a 12 x 18 x 2-inch ungreased pan.
Spread with the apple butter, then cover with the remaining batter.
Pat lightly. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes or until lightly brown.
Cool in pan and cut into bars.
