Ragout Of Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. top round steak
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 diced carrot
    1 diced onion
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Wipe meat with a cold damp cloth and cut into small cubes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; roll in flour.
    Melt margarine in a large saucepan.
    Add meat and brown it well.
    Stir in 1 tablespoon flour.
    Add 1 cup boiling water.
    Bring to boiling point, stirring constantly.
    Add carrot and onion.
    Cover tightly and let simmer 1 hour.
    Add Worcestershire sauce and serve hot. Excellent over baked potato.
