Red Devil Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar until very light.
    Add egg. Alternate dry ingredients with liquids.
    At very last, add hot water all at once.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 19 minutes.
    A caramel icing is good with this.
