Flemish Beef And Beer - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
2 lb. round steak
2 or 3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 parsley sprigs, chopped
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 bay leaf
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Saute onions and garlic until transparent, then put in small bowl.
Trim meat and cut into cubes.
Dredge meat in flour, salt and pepper and brown meat. Place meat into glass baking dish and spread veggies over top. Sprinkle with parsley, nutmeg, thyme and bay leaf.
Pour beer and sprinkle brown sugar over all.
Can use wild game meat, works well.
Cover and bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
