Mama Gage'S Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. lard
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking powder with salt.
    Mix in shortening. Mix with cold water to biscuit-like dough.
    Roll thin and cut in 1 x 2-inch strips.
    Drop in boiling chicken broth, cover and cook for 15 minutes or until tender.
