Creamy Broccoli-Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. margarine
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. skim milk
    2 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    dash of salt and pepper
    6 oz. skinned, boned, cooked chicken, diced
    1 c. cooked, chopped broccoli
    1/2 c. cooked macaroni shells
    1/2 c. chopped, drained canned pimentos
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In small saucepan, heat margarine until bubbly and hot; add onion and saute briefly (do not brown).
    Add flour and stir quickly to thoroughly combine; remove from heat and gradually stir in milk, stirring until thoroughly blended.
    Return to heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thick and creamy, about 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in salt and pepper.
