Ingredients

4 lb. round or flank steak (1-inch thick)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. soy sauce
Preparation

Partially freeze meat and then slice into 1/8-inch wide and 4-inch long strips.
Combine other ingredients.
Mix with beef strips in glass bowl.
Cover and refrigerate 8 hours.
Lay in single layers on a broiler pan.
Bake at 140\u00b0 to 150\u00b0 for 12 to 14 hours.
Blot with paper towel.
