Willie'S Homemade Chili Mac - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped or minced
    2 tsp. chili powder (more or less)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. can pinto beans or kidney beans
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
    Brush large skillet with small amount of fat.
    Add ground beef and onion.
    Cook until browned.
    Add macaroni, a cup of water, chili powder, salt, sugar and beans.
    Cover; simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Top with cheese; place over low heat until cheese melts.
    Yield:
    5 to 6 servings.
