Scratch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, Crisco, eggs and 3/4 cup milk.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add remaining milk and vanilla; beat 2 minutes.
    Pour in baking pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Makes 4 layers.
