Mom'S Cinnamon Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 heaping c. shortening
    1/2 c. warm water
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Warm milk and water; add sugar and yeast.
    Stir until yeast dissolves.
    Add 2 cups flour and beat until smooth.
    Leave in warm place 20 minutes or 1 hour.
    Add sugar, shortening, warm water, 3 1/2 cups flour and salt.
    Use a big spoon to mix.
    Set back and let rise until double.
    Punch down; roll out and spread with butter, sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll up into long roll; cut off 1-inch pieces. Place, spaced apart, in greased pans.
    Let rise again.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
