Classic Creamed Corn Au Grautin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. frozen kernel corn
    12 oz. whipping cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    a pinch of white pepper
Preparation
    Combine corn, cream, salt, sugar and white pepper in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Make a roux from butter and flour. Add to corn and mix well.
    Remove from heat. Serves 6.
