Raisin Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft margarine
1 c. brown sugar firmly packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. crushed bran flakes
1 c. seedless raisins
Preparation

Sift flour and salt.
Combine butter and sugar and mix thoroughly.
Add vanilla and eggs.
Beat well.
Stir in bran flakes and raisins.
Add flour mixture and stir thoroughly.
Spread in a well-greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Frost with your favorite icing. Let stand until set.
Cut into bars.
