Penny Pizzas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. onion salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. milk
1 egg
1/3 c. tomato paste
1 lb. wieners, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
Preparation

Sift first 6 ingredients together. Stir in cheese, basil and oregano.
Cut shortening into flour mixture to make coarse crumbs. Add milk, tomato paste and unbeaten egg, stirring with fork until dough follows fork around bowl.
Knead on floured board 5 or 6 times.
Roll dough around wieners to form cup.
Place on baking sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
Yields 8 dozen.
