Country Ham And Red Eye Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. country cured ham
1 c. hot coffee

Preparation

Fry ham until brown in iron or heavy skillet.
Remove ham from pan.
Pour grease of ham in bowl.
Pour hot coffee into hot skillet.
Pour coffee from skillet into bowl with ham grease. Gravy is delicious over hot grits or hot biscuits.
