Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. flour *
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
2 1/2 c. sugar
4eggs
1/3 c. orange juice
3 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. vanilla
6 large apples
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Add together all liquid, then all dry ingredients.
Set aside. Peel and dice apples, add cinnamon, sugar and 1/4 cup flour.
Mix well.
In greased and floured tube pan, place a layer of batter, then a layer of apples.
Sprinkle with leftover cinnamon mixture. Repeat, ending with apples on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
