Cherry Cola Jello - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can Bing cherries
    1 large cherry Jell-O
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (12 oz.) can Coke
    1 c. blanched slivered almonds
Preparation
    Drain cherries and pineapple.
    Measure syrup; add water, if necessary to make 2 cups.
    Heat syrups to boiling.
    Pour over Jell-O until dissolved.
    Add Coke.
    Chill for 1 1/2 hours. Combine fruit and almonds.
    Fold into Jell-O.
    Pour into mold and chill.
