Creamy Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups cooked wild rice
    1 large chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 can drained mushrooms, chopped
    2 carrots, chopped
    1 1/2 cups diced ham
    8 cups water
    10 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 c. flour
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 1/2 sticks butter
Preparation
    Saute onions, celery, carrots and mushrooms in butter until tender. Sprinkle flour over vegetables until well coated (mixture will be pasty). Add the water and bouillon cubes to the wild rice. Add coated vegetables and whipping cream. Heat and stir to make sure the vegetables blend into the soup. Do not boil. No salt needed. Serves 6.
