Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar (less may be used)
    1 large (20 oz.) can kraut
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 large sweet onion or green onions
    1 can chopped pimentos
Preparation
    Run about 1/2 cup water through kraut; drain.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Put in covered dish.
    Refrigerate until chilled well.
