Rice Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 small onion, diced (optional)
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can bouillon soup (undiluted)
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced (optional)
    1 c. uncooked regular rice
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter. Mix with soup. Drain mushrooms and water chestnuts, reserving the liquid. Add water to make 1 1/4 cups of liquid. Add mushrooms, water chestnuts, liquids and rice to soup mixture. Mix well. Pour into a lightly oiled baking dish. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
