Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. chili powder
    pepper to taste
    2 c. sliced onions
    1/2 c. rice, uncooked
    2 tsp. salt
    1 can tomatoes
Preparation
    In skillet, brown beef, onion and green pepper.
    Pour off grease.
    Stir in rice.
    Sprinkle chili powder, salt and pepper over it.
    Add tomatoes.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat and cook 25 to 30 minutes until rice is tender.
