Cinnamon Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 c. lukewarm milk (scalded then cooled)
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    5 to 6 c. flour
Preparation
    Soak yeast
    in
    warm
    water.
    Add
    remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Let rise
    until
    double in bulk.
    Roll in rectangle. Add cinnamon, sugar, raisins,
    nuts, etc.
    Roll up and slice 1-inch thick.
    Rise for 15 minutes.
    Bake
    at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, until beginning to brown.
