Plum Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) jar plum preserves
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. chopped dried red chili pepper or 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation

In a small saucepan, combine plum preserves, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, red chili pepper or crushed red pepper, garlic and ground ginger.
Bring mixture to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Cool slightly.
Refrigerate in a covered container overnight to blend seasonings.
Makes 1 1/4 cups.
