Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. fat
1 lb. round or flank steak, cut into bite sizes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 green peppers, diced
1 c. canned beef bouillon
1 c. drained canned tomatoes or 3 tomatoes, quartered
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Melt fat in frypan.
Cut meat into 1-inch strips; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place meat, onion and garlic in frypan; brown.
Add peppers and bouillon; cover and cook 30 minutes.
Add tomatoes; simmer 5 minutes.
Combine cornstarch, soy sauce and water; add to meat mixture and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Makes four servings.
Serve over rice.
