Melt-In-Your-Mouth Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. blueberries
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add 1/4 cup sugar to keep them stiff.
    Cream shortening and vanilla.
    Add remaining sugar gradually.
    Add unbeaten egg yolks and beat until light and creamy.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Fold in beaten whites and blueberries.
    Take a small amount of flour from recipe and shake on blueberries to keep them from settling. Place in an 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Sprinkle top lightly with sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
