Sausage-Apple Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sausage
    1/2 c. chopped apple
    1 tsp. onion
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. hot water
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. crackers
Preparation
    Fry sausage slightly; do not drain.
    Add remaining ingredients. Mix. Stuff a 2 1/2 pound pheasant.
    Double recipe for 5 pound chicken or duck.
