Teen Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/2 large, yellow onion, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large can baked beans (11#), undrained
    1 large can solid tomatoes
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt
    1 heaping tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut bacon in strips and cook with onion.
    Add ground beef and brown slightly.
    Drain off excess fat.
    Hold remaining ingredients and stir gently.
    Cover and simmer 1/4 hour over low heat.
    Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
    Serves 4 to 6 hungry teenagers. (Can be made ahead.)
