Lolly Pops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. oil of peppermint
    1/2 tsp. food coloring
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup and water; stir until sugar dissolves.
    Cook, without stirring, to hard crack stage (300\u00b0). Add peppermint and coloring.
    Cool slightly.
    Lay 24 skewers 4 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
    Drop from tip of teaspoon over skewers to form 2-inch discs.
