Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1/3 c. rice
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 lump butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring to a boil on top of stove, stirring often, the milk, rice, sugar and butter.
    Lower heat; let simmer about 1 hour, stirring often.
    When creamy, take off heat.
    Stir in vanilla and cinnamon.
    Let stand.
    Will thicken as it cools.
