Pete'S Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. mashed pumpkin
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. light cream
1/4 c. dark rum (optional)
1/2 batch pie pastry (enough for a 9-inch pie)
Preparation

Roll out pastry and line a 9-inch pie pan.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Cool shell.
Combine pumpkin, sugar and spices.
Beat in eggs and cream.
If desired, stir in rum.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until inserted knife comes out clean.
