Orange Candy Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 lb. orange candy slices, cut up
1 lb. dates or white raisins
3 to 4 oz. coconut
2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs.
Mix well.
Alternately add flour and soda that has been dissolved in buttermilk.
