Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 lb.) chicken
    1 (16 oz.) can green peas, drained
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Rinse chicken.
    Cook in water to cover until tender.
    Bone and chop chicken; reserve 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
    Place chicken in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Combine reserved broth, peas and soup in bowl; mix well.
    Pour over chicken.
    Stir flour into butter in bowl.
    Add buttermilk; mix well.
    Spoon over casserole.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until brown.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
