Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
4 c. tomato juice
1 (16 oz.) can tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. oregano
2 c. mushrooms

Preparation

Saute celery, onion and garlic in bacon drippings.
Brown hamburger meat.
Drain and add to sauteed mixture.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 hour.
