Mom-Mom'S Pumpkin Pie Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    13 oz. can evaporated milk
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 tsp. cloves, optional
    2 c. pumpkin
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven 350 degrees.
    Mix together flour, oats, 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1/2 c. margarine.
    Then press into a greased 13 inch x 9 inch baking dish.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
    Mix evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, salt, ginger, vanilla, cloves, and pumpkin. Pour over hot base, return to oven for 20 minutes.
    Mix 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 Tbsp. margarine and nuts until crumbly.
    Sprinkle on top of pumpkin.
    Return to oven for 30 to 40 minutes until knife comes out clean.
    Let cool and cut into squares.
    Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
