German Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. 100% Bran, let set in 2 c. boiling water
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. 40% Bran Flakes
1/2 lb. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, buttermilk and 100% Bran and water mixture.
Add dry ingredients and 40% bran flakes. Makes 4 quarts and will keep up to 2 weeks.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
