Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced cucumbers (about 5 medium)
    1 c. sliced sweet onions
    1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine
    cucumbers,
    onions and green pepper in a large bowl. Add
    sugar,
    vinegar,
    salt and celery seed.
    Mix well. Cover
    and refrigerate
    for at least 24 hours before serving. Makes about 9 cups.
