Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
2 c. quick oats
1 c. coconut
1 c. corn flakes
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, then vanilla.
Add flour, sifted with soda and baking powder.
Add remaining ingredients. Form into balls about the size of walnuts and flatten slightly with a fork that has been dipped in water.
May be decorated with candied cherries.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
